

Flying Machine
A surreal assembly of layered figures, sweeping sails and airborne kites converges around a wheeled watercraft set on a metallic disc. Ink on aluminium gives the collage crisp contours and a cool, reflective character, while vivid red shapes cut through the restrained gray field. The shifting scale and unlikely construction create a playful sense of speed and invention.

As an artist and an architect or vice versa, the works presented here exist between the languages of different media, in a reality between tangential worlds. The practice focuses on the essence of the elusive line that separates art and design, where the works also exist. The technique is simple and does not use Photoshop or artificial intelligence - spontaneous photography of fleeting moments and artistic photography of stationary objects. Cutting out elements of reality captured in photography and re-gluing them in a different fictitious order that challenges the credibility of visual perception. Exquisite concrete bowls and plates, produced separately and simultaneously, serve as actors in a fictional scene.…
