Dereh Yafo
An expressive acrylic cityscape on canvas, where curving streets, glowing windows, and traffic signs dissolve into a dreamlike urban rhythm. Loose brushwork and softened edges create movement and atmosphere, balancing recognizable architecture with painterly distortion and moody evening light.

My art conveys the diverse beauty of Tel-Aviv, which is different in each of its neighborhoods. When I'm painting Florentine or the area around the Central Bus Station, I want to show the hidden beauty of these places, bustling with crowds and pulsating with energy. I'm especially attracted by the diversity of southern Tel-Aviv, where the vulnerability of the temporal beauty, hidden in the old buildings, is juxtaposed with the masculine brutality of the grey concrete. I use my creative vision to uncover the secrets of Tel-Aviv and to paint the very soul of this amazing city.
