Botanical Unfolding is a series inspired by organic forms in motion - where surfaces open, separate, and reveal a quiet dialogue between them. Each piece begins from a shared base, from which two sides emerge and extend outward. One surface is delicately carved, while the other remains smooth, creating a contrast between texture and stillness. The base is grounded and stable, expressing a connection to the earth, while the upper forms open asymmetrically - holding a subtle tension between movement and restraint, between the expressive and the quiet. Each piece can stand on its own, yet when gathered together, they form a sculptural field — a composition of variations, like elements in nature unfolding side by side. Each object is hand-built from natural clay and left unglazed, allowing the raw, honest texture of the material to remain visible. Every piece is one of a kind, crafted with intention, sensitivity, and precise care.
