Bacchanalia

Bacchanalia is a charged, surrealist work that merges the ready-made utility of wine glasses with human legs delicately sculpted through glassblowing. The two vessels are transformed into living entities, engaging in an intimate, visceral, and bodily dynamic. The piece draws inspiration from the ancient Roman festivals of "Bacchanalia" held in honor of Bacchus, the god of wine—celebrations defined by sexual liberation, a loss of control, and the untamed pursuit of desire. In this artwork, wine and the body become one, inviting the viewer into a celebration of freedom, passion, and sensory intoxication.
