Allergy

In the piece "Allergy" (Oil, ink, and acrylic on canvas, 100x100 cm), Abisdris explores the boundaries between humor and vulnerability, chaos and tenderness. Using an expressive, spontaneous line, she transforms fragments of contemporary visual culture into a personal mythology. The work weaves together the languages of Surrealism and Pop Art with the raw immediacy of street culture. By re-staging figures and icons within a densely layered composition, she treats identity as a performance, questioning how images construct both the artist and the viewer in our overstimulated reality. The result is a vivid, self-aware body of work reflecting on the paradoxes of visibility and authenticity.
