Juliette Benzimra

$1,102

A smiling seated woman fills the composition, her face framed by a beaded headpiece and flowing drapery rendered in layered grayscale. Acrylic on canvas allows for strong tonal contrast, with crisp dark contours and softer blended passages across the skin and fabric. The result is a warm, direct portrait with a calm, grounded presence.

Juliette Benzimra

My actual name is Juliette but friends and family call me Julie. I grew up in France, in the city of Lyon, known for its great Beaujolais and Rhรดne wines. Since my early childhood I always loved drawing Realism, or even Naรฏf, subjects. Around 28 years old, I started painting on canvas for various Jewish charitable institutions and Jewish schools. Later on I made Aliyah to Israel, I had to stop my artistic journey due to children/family obligations. Today the children are not children anymore, and I can finally dedicate more time to my passions, painting and sculpting
