Sharon Agassi

I love the challenge and the mystery of abstract art but, except for doodling, I really only began drawing and painting in my 60s. Before that, my artistic nature mainly found its outlet in writing, photography, cooking, drumming, and English teaching, among other pursuits. My artistic style is intuitive, reflecting a life of balanced asymmetry, stubborn independence, and sometimes contradictory provocation. Lively colors meet subdued fields as I revel in the freedom of unlimited shapes, colors, collage elements and texturing tools.
