Ran Ben Shaya

Ran Benshaya is an architect, multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work explores the relationship between people and nature, the urban environment and multicultural contexts. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Architectural Association in London and a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. Over the past decade, Ran has lived, worked and studied in London, Bali, Copenhagen, Barcelona and Tel Aviv. His photographic work emerges from these journeys and reflects a deep curiosity toward cultures, urban spaces, architecture and people. His photographic language seeks to document diverse perspectives in an organic, intuitive and sensitive manner, with a strong attention to atmosphere, light and the subtle relationships between individuals and their surroundings.
