Carmel Dishon

Carmel Dishon is a visual artist with over 20 years of experience in painting and sculpture. She was raised in a creative environment by parents who met while studying in the graphic design department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Her formal artistic education includes studies at Seminar Hakibbutzim College, as well as intensive training under the guidance of acclaimed artists Jan Rauchwerger and Gil Mitchell. These diverse influences helped shape her technical skills and her unique approach to both canvas and form. Throughout her career, Dishon has participated in numerous exhibitions across Israel. Her work has reached international audiences as well, having previously showcased and sold her original pieces through the global platform Etsy. In her creative process, Dishon focuses on the constant evolution of self-expression. She often explores the tension between different elements—such as density and vacancy or stability and fragility—drawing deep inspiration from the natural world to reflect her inner landscape
