Purple Tradescantia on Gold
A dense cluster of elongated leaves rises across a gold-toned ground, layered in deep purple, navy, green, and flashes of pink. Acrylic paint creates defined silhouettes and textured highlights, while small blossoms punctuate the foliage. The rich contrast gives this compact botanical composition an energetic, nocturnal character suited to a hallway, office, or gallery wall.

Visual artist working primarily in painting. In my work, I explore images of everyday life, animals, still lifes, and familiar visual symbols. For me, a work of art is defined not only by its visual qualities, but also by the meanings embedded within it — explicit and hidden, personal and universal. I often use imagery as a form of encoded message: some elements carry a specific meaning for me, while others reveal themselves differently to each viewer, depending on their individual perception and associations. Through color, composition, and texture, I aim to create works that first draw the viewer in visually and gradually reveal additional layers of meaning.
