She, however, decided to lift a leg. With a ribbon in her hair, red shoes, and plenty of self-belief, she proves it’s never too late to start over—even if getting into a pose takes twenty minutes, a nearby chair, and a bit of negotiation with her back. Because dreams don’t wrinkle with age; they just need a good stretch.

Who says art has to be so serious? It all started when I spotted a small sculpture with a price tag that made my jaw drop. I decided to try making one myself—and my imagination took over from there. Today, I handcraft papier-mâché sculptures of the colorful characters that make life interesting: relatable professionals in hilarious moments, quirky animals, and figures caught mid-dilemma.
