Held Against the Hills
A closely embracing couple occupies the center, their faces nearly touching against a broad landscape of layered hills. Gesso on paper is worked into granular gray passages, dark contours, and finely observed folds, giving the figures a tactile, weathered presence. The restrained monochrome palette and protective gesture create a romantic, slightly nostalgic mood suited to a bedroom, living room, or quiet study.

Tania Cohen
I’m Tania Cohen, a visual artist, and for me painting is a way to express what words sometimes cannot. I love exploring colors, textures, and emotions, creating artworks full of life and meaning. Through my paintings, I hope to convey beauty, hope, and above all, create a special connection with those who experience them. I believe there is something magical about art: each person can find a different emotion, story, or meaning in the same painting. And that is exactly what inspires me to keep creating.
