Guy Mintus
The artwork depicts Guy Mintus, a jazz pianist and musician, in the act of playing a grand piano. Bold planes of turquoise, orange, green, and deep purple—combined with sharp, rhythmic lines reminiscent of linocuts—create an interplay between the pianist and his instrument. The piano becomes an integral part of the composition, almost a space unto itself, within which the figure of the Little Prince appears, adding a theatrical and enigmatic touch. The bold palette, contrasts, and energetic lines echo the spirit of jazz—its rhythm, improvisation, and the tension between structure and freedom. Thus, a moment of performance transforms into a visual representation of music in motion.
