Crimson Current
A broad red-orange field gathers at the center, crossed by sweeping strokes of purple, blue, white, and yellow against a pale blue-green ground. Layered oil paint shifts between softly blended passages and thicker, sharply dragged marks that give the composition direction and depth. The vivid core creates an energetic focal point while the surrounding color retains an airy, open mood.

I dreamed of being an artist from a young age, but I only began painting at 47, after immigrating to Israel. I studied art at Margarita Levin’s private studio for ten years. In 2008, I joined the Rehovot Artists' Association. Since then, I have participated in exhibitions around the world, including a group exhibition in England in 2009 and an exhibition at the Louvre Museum in Paris in 2011. I have also exhibited in Israel—in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ramat Gan, Rehovot, and Jerusalem. Recently, I have been increasingly drawn to intuitive painting, as it allows me to express my emotions and impressions more fully.
