At the park
An expressive oil painting characterized by bold, dramatic colors. At the center of the composition, a child stands on a rocky mound, looking out towards a row of round, green trees. The sky and background are painted in intense, saturated shades of red and pink, creating a deep contrast with the green and yellow of the landscape. Technically, the painting does not extend to the edges of the canvas; the raw white borders are left exposed, giving the entire scene a "floating" effect in space and adding a fragile, ephemeral dimension to the artwork. Furthermore, prominent vertical paint drips cascade down from the trees and cross the composition, emphasizing the paint's materiality and adding a sense of fluidity.
